Located at 755 S Hobart Blvd in Los Angeles, Heyri Cafe stands out as a cozy retreat for those seeking a warm atmosphere and delectable treats. This Korean cafe offers a unique blend of Westernized Korean dishes, including an expansive drink menu featuring both coffees and teas.
Guests rave about the serene outdoor garden area, adorned with plants and equipped with spacious tables—perfect for social gatherings. Royce Chang describes it as a "hidden gem," expressing satisfaction with the ambiance, despite a slightly overly sweet iced hazelnut coffee that was swiftly exchanged for a delicious cappuccino.
Food lovers will appreciate the generous portions, as noted by Jules, who commented on the good value offered by the menu. Dishes like spicy calamari and bulgogi receive high praise for their flavor, while complimentary beverages, including coffee and lemon-infused water, add a thoughtful touch. However, a few reviews mention service delays, particularly when requesting the check.
Overall, Heyri Cafe is celebrated for its inviting environment, delightful food, and friendly, if occasionally slow, service—making it an ideal spot for leisurely afternoons with friends.

Heyri Coffee Shop is a hidden gem! After a delicious meal nearby, we took a short stroll to this cozy haven. The outdoor garden area is a dream – spacious tables, surrounded by plants, and beautifully lit. It's an ideal spot to meet up and socialize. While the iced hazelnut coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, the server's swap for a creamy cappuccino saved the day. Fantastic ambiance and top-notch service!

Food was good. Massive portions and for a great price! There was a bit of a wait with the service but I didn't mind because there was only one server waiting a bunch of tables. A bit pricey but definitely worth it!

Korean cafe-다방 with coffees, teas, and Westernized Korean food — a unique cuisine with influences Japanese and American. Beautiful back patio — a place you can easily pass an afternoon with friends and conversation.

Spicy calamari was delicious and a huge portion! Bulgogi was very tasty, too! Kimchi was perfectly fermented. You get a free coffee or pop with the purchase of food. Water comes with a lemon slice and a cute straw. Service was lacking. He was very kind, but it took forever to get the check after our table had been cleared of food and beverages. Highly recommend! Just don't be afraid to speak up and ask for the check when you're ready, or they'll let you linger.

A truly unique hidden gem in Koreatown. I have been twice so far and I am surprised this place isn’t packed day and night. One of the most pleasingly atmospheric restaurant/cafes in Los Angeles; the food is delicious yet surprisingly reasonable for the quality of fare. Hanging in the patio you feel like you are in the tropics, not the most densely populated burb in LA. I had the Omelette rice when I was last there and would highly recommend it.
